So last Friday I come home from work, and on the doorstep I see two parcels sitting. One is my Visa and Info packet!! I was very excited to FINALLY get it, as it comes 8 days before I leave. The other parcel? Someone else's visa, addressed to me. Oh that's great.

Luckily it happened to be Kelsey's, so I could get it to her. She stopped by yesterday to pick it up. Can you imagine though if I didn't know who it was?? Yikes! I had emailed Castaway about it, and they said that they must have stuck together. Hehehe nope, you addressed it wrong. Oh well, everything is all gone and fine :)

Anyway, in my pack I got my Acceptance Letter (which I have signed and faxed back to them), my visa (which is just a piece of paper, and now a receipt as I had to pay the SEVIS fee), The Disney Look Book, Mickey Stickers, and Luggage tags. So exciting :D

Last night Carol called in regards to she, Kelsey, and I sitting together on the plane. She had called Air Canada and they say we could go online 24 hours before our flight and book the seats. So hopefully that works out (we plan to do it Saturday morning). If that doesn't work then we'll go tot he check in counter at the airport together.

Almost done my packing! I've got a few more things that I need to throw in my suitcase, but otherwise I'm all set to go.

Admittedly while I'm very VERY excited to go, I'm slightly nervous. It's not much nervousness, but there's a little voice that's wondering how it's all going to go. I know it's gonna be a tonne of fun, and I will miss my family, but the excitement outweighs the nerves. Woo!

I LEAVE TOMORROW!!!

So it's been an interesting week or so.

Last week I met up with Brynna (brynna87). She imparted her Disney International College program wisdom on me, which was great! It's nice being able to talk to someone who's been on the program, and can help you get ready for what to expect! We're gonna have so much fun when we're down there!!

On Thursday I got an email from Eric at Castaway, saying I was missing some paperwork, a Proof of Student Status form, even though I already gave them my Proof of Enrollment / Accreditation form! Panic mode all weekend, as it wouldn't be until Tuesday that I could get up to campus to get this paperwork done. So Tuesday finally rolls around, I go to campus. The registrar tells me that they can't complete the form exactly, as they can't confirm future enrollment, but they could send in an official form (the Proof of Enrollment / Accreditation form) for me. I said that was alright, as I'd already sent that one. So they stamp it for me, confirming that I was in Spring 07 semester. I sent it off to Eric, and he emailed me back saying it was all good. Phew! Now hopefully with that done, my Visa will come!!

Yesterday was my birthday, and I had my wisdom teeth pulled. What joy. I wouldn't wish that on anyone, I was so frightened! Now I'm sitting here, looking like one of the Chipmunks, with my cheeks all swollen up. Just call me Dale :P

This morning, though, I got an email from Disney themselves (not Castaway) in regards to the Arrival procedures. So that made me quite happy :)

One month and counting!!!

Apart from working lots and trying to catch up on lost sleep, I haven't really done much.

I did get an email from Eric today, just saying that I need to email my itinerary to Disney so they can pick me up at the airport. So I did that.

...oh, and anxiously waiting for my info pack and visa to come!

Been busy lately! Exam time has arrived upon us again, so I've been hunkered down in my room with my books, reciting historical dates and working on take home exams.

At any rate, another thing knocked off my Disney To-Do list. Went and requested my background check from the local RCMP office. I had it in my head that I would get to see the check,but nope, they send it off to Cast-a-way right away. Guess I won't find out if I'm a mass murderer or not ;)

And my ticker keeps counting down... hee hee hee

So I phoned the Canadian Casting Agency today (Castaway), and talked to them about my job offer, of which I accepted! I'm going to be in Merchandise. Will be a lot of fun, I'm so giddy now.

I won't be getting my Information Packet for a few months (April, if I heard that right), but I have a few things I need to get together in the 6 months I have to wait before I can go!!

Hmm.. maybe I need to get a countdown timer on here? ;)
